Leadership Institute Concludes Leadership and Communication Skills Training for Nigeria Customs Service

The Leadership Institute (Nigeria) has successfully concluded the Leadership and Communication Skills Training for senior officers of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), held from 5 to 8 February 2024 at BON Hotel, Ibadan, Oyo State. The four-day intensive programme was designed to strengthen leadership capacity, enhance communication competence, and improve decision-making among NCS officers in line with the evolving demands of modern customs administration. Participants took part in interactive sessions, workshops, and group discussions facilitated by seasoned experts. The training focused on practical approaches to effective leadership, interpersonal communication, and team collaboration, equipping officers with tools to perform more effectively in their professional roles. Beyond the classroom sessions, the event also served as a platform for knowledge exchange and networking, allowing participants to share experiences and explore innovative strategies for addressing emerging challenges in customs operations. Speaking at the closing session, facilitators commended the active participation and commitment of the officers throughout the programme.
